Chiltern Yurts agrees to hire the Yurt to you subject to these terms and conditions.

 

Chiltern Yurts reserves the right to change this website, including prices, and terms and conditions, without notice.

 

Rental Period
The “Rental Period” commences on and ends on the dates stated in your booking confirmation. Payment when making a booking is evidence of the Hirer’s acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Arrival and Departure
Please advise Chiltern Yurts in advance of your expected arrival time. On arrival, please come to the site entrance where you will be given a key to your Yurt.

• Check in is from 3.00pm. Should you arrive after 5.00pm we will make arrangements for you to collect a key from elsewhere.

• Check out is at 11.00am. On your departure, please leave your Yurt key in the open door.

Security/Damages Deposit
A security/damages deposit amount of £100 per yurt is to be paid pre arrival or on arrival. The money is returned within 24 hours of departure subject to no damages occurring during your stay. The deposit will be used to cover the cost of any professional cleaning charges, replacement or repairs required to the Yurt or its contents.

Rental Cost
The Rental Cost is calculated in accordance with the prevailing rates available on our website. Full payment is required to secure a booking.

Occupancy, Nuisance and Rights of Refusal
Occupancy of the Yurt must not exceed 5 people. Chiltern Yurts reserve the right to refuse entry to the site if the numbers in your group exceed this. The booking will then be deemed cancelled with full loss of payment.

Chiltern Yurts is a peaceful and tranquil setting and loud noise and nuisance will not be tolerated. There is a “no noise” curfew at 10pm to respect other guests and our surrounding neighbours. Guests who are deemed to be causing noise or nuisance will be given one warning and then if the nuisance persists they will be liable for loss of Damages Deposit and/or ejected from the site. Amplified music is prohibited at all times.

We also reserve the right to refuse entry to the campsite, cancel bookings, or instruct people to leave the campsite during the Rental Period, for any reason (for example due to inappropriate behaviour, complaints from other campsite occupants or neighbours, dangerous weather or site conditions).

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your reservation within 48 hours from making a booking provided your “Rental Period” is not due to commence within 14 days from when you made the booking. A £10 administration fee will be payable. To exercise your right to cancel within this period, you must inform Chiltern Yurts in writing of your clear intention to cancel. Notification should be sent via email to info@Chilternyurts.com. Please also notify us immediately by telephone – 07768795853.

Outside of this period Chiltern Yurts has no obligation to provide any refund. In the event Chiltern Yurts re-lets the Yurt reserved for you for the same “Rental Period” at the same Cost, your “Rental Cost” will be refunded in full, less a £10 administration charge.

You are advised to obtain insurance cover for your stay to cover cancellation in the event of insurable events.

​

If possible, Chiltern Yurts may use its discretion to agree to change your booking to another date, subject to availability and any additional costs that may apply at the new date.

Force Majeure
If Chiltern Yurts has to cancel your reservation for any reason beyond its control (including, but not limited to, trade disputes, fire, act of god or adverse weather), every effort will be made to reschedule your booking to an alternative date and to provide information to your insurance company if requested. You are advised to obtain insurance cover for your stay to cover cancellation in the event of insurable events. Chiltern Yurts’ liability to you shall be limited to a refund of any Damage Deposit paid.

Health and Safety and Disclaimer
Guests enter Chiltern Yurts glamping site at their own risk. Chiltern Yurts will not accept responsibility for any acts of danger or misuse of apparatus and equipment provided, nor for loss of, damage to or theft of guests’ possessions from a Yurt or on the campsite during the Rental Period. Responsible adults must be in control of fires at all times.
You agree to indemnify Chiltern Yurts in full in the event of any reckless, negligent or deliberate act by you or any guests or third parties granted access to your Yurt during the Rental Period causing damage or loss to any Yurt or its contents, including any losses Chiltern Yurts incurs as a result of not being able to supply the Yurt to fulfil other bookings as a result of such damage, defects or excessive cleaning required. Should the Damage Deposit be insufficient to meet costs incurred by Chiltern Yurts, you shall
indemnify Chiltern Yurts in full for the excess amount plus any administrative charges required to pursue such payment.

 

Privacy
Your contact and personal details may be kept by us for future mailings and news. If you do not wish to receive these, please do let us know. The booking process asks for your address details and phone numbers. It allows us to contact you should the internet fail and if we need to contact
you whilst you are travelling to the campsite. Please note that your financial details are NEVER stored by Chiltern Yurts. We will not pass on or sell your details to any third parties.
